RACING 2
SLAVIA SOFIA 0

Parc des Sports de Haguenau. 1243 spectateurs payants. Mi-temps : 0-0. Arbitre : M. Keltz (Colmar), assisté de Mlle Zinck (Mothern) et M. Fritz (Oberlauterbach).
Les buts : Tum (72e', 87e') pour Strasbourg. Avertissement à De Gea (90e'+2, contestation) pour Strasbourg.

RACING : Cassard - Deroff, Kantari, Ekobo, Lacour (Bellaid, 46e') - Loué - Abdessadki (cap.), Johansen (Gasmi, 46e), Boka (Celestini, 50e') - Rangelov (De Gea, 46e'), Perbet (Tum, 46e'). Entraîneur : Jean-Pierre Papin.

SLAVIA SOFIA : Ambarimian - Ivanov, Rahgelov (Lazerevski, 73e') Karaslavov (cap.)- Iliev, Sperahca, Kolev, Petrov, Stojkov - Pavlov (Dzambazoh, 65e'), Mecedziev . Entraîneur : Alyosha Andonov.

First attack came from Johansen's free kick just upon the crossbar on the 14'. Rangelov shoot on Ambarimian's hands on the 16', and so did Perbet on the 18'. First real good chance for Strasbourg was Johansen giving Rangelov an opportunity to score that finally hit the crossbar (36'). Strasbourg dominate the first half without discussion.

Slavia's Stojkov also hit the crossbar on the 49', following a corner. Tum, the new forward from Racing's side make then a good appearence, scoring two times in a row at 72' with a good assistance from Abdessaki, and then on the 87' with a good head kick on a corner. Pavlov miss the chance to give Slavia a goal on 89', goalkeeper Cassard saving the ball on his own goal line.

Both teams were afflicted by the overwhelming heat on Hagenau's stadium (38°).

Mitko seems to be smoothly integrated in Racing team and should have many opportunities to show his talents on the forthcoming season.

Gargorov (CSKA Sofia) should also soon join Strasbourg team. This would make Racing the most "bulgarian" team in french professional league.

Slavia looks good on the field, even if its defense seems to be weak on free kick and a little bit slow. Whatever, it has shown some good talents -keeping the ball, creating good opportunities on an easy way. You shall note that Strasbourg beat Bayern Munchen 2 - 0 last saturday.

Good luck, Slavia!

(sorry for my disturbed english, especially in french section)
