Bulgaria's football coach named the players that will face Sweden in a World Cup qualifier in September.

Star striker Valeri Bojinov (Fiorentina) and defender Ilian Stoyanov (Jeff United) were left out of the squad for the key return game in Sweden.

Hristo Stoitchkov's choice are Georgi Petkov, Dimitar Ivankov, Zdravko Lazarov, Martin Petrov, Tiago Silva, Valentin Iliev, Ivaylo Petkov, Dimitar Berbatov, Radostin Kishishev, Assen Karaslavov /Slavia/, Emi Gargorov, Chavdar Yankov, Tsvetan Genkov, Georgi Ivanov, Martin Kamburov, Elin Topuzakov, Georgi Iliev, Stilian Petrov and Blagoy Georgiev/Slavia/.

"I would not take chances by inviting players who are not in a good shape," Stoitchkov told reporters following a question about Bojinov.

The squad will come together for training on Sunday, and fly to Sweden on September 1.

Bulgaria lost the first leg of the game 0-3, thus drastically reducing chances for reaching the World Cup finals.

Also on Monday, Stoitchkov said that six Bulgarian boys would be introduced to Spanish giant Barcelona. One or two of the talented youngsters will spend a year with the club's youths, Stoitchkov said.

The other kids will spend a year for free in his private football school in Spain.

Stoitchkov was the patron of a campaign to recruit young football hopefuls in Bulgaria. Castings were held in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Russe and Pleven, drawing more than 3,000 boys aged 11-13.

Few of them were allowed to an August 16 match, watched by Barcelona representatives.
